Jacqueline "The Angel" Karol is a world-class certified pool instructor and prominent figure in the billiards community, born in Washington State where she began playing pool at age three under her father's guidance. After her parents' divorce, she lived in Philadelphia with her artist mother, blending creativity into her game, before studying at the University of Colorado at Boulder and later earning a Biology degree. She transitioned to full-time professional pool, training with Tom Ross and winning major titles like the BCA 8-Ball Championship and Trick Shot Championship in 2003, while also founding "The Angels of Billiards" to raise charity funds through challenge matches. Since 2006, she has toured as a professional with the International Pool Tour, later shifting to owning and operating bars, pool halls, and poker clubs, while developing her passion for teaching through an instructional book, video series, and reopening the Gemini in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
